Pioneering Nature-Based Behavioural Therapy
With over 12 years of dedicated experience in providing behaviour therapy to young children with special needs, Serinn has established herself as an innovative leader in the field. As the founder and director of Happy Kiddos Pte. Ltd., she has developed a unique, integrative mind-body approach to nurturing children's development.
Serinn's groundbreaking work lies in seamlessly blending Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles with horticulture therapy. This innovative approach harnesses the healing power of nature and gardening to promote positive behaviours and enhance emotional wellness in children.
By creating a synergy between evidence-based behavioural techniques and the calming influence of nature, Serinn has opened new avenues for holistic child development. Her passion for this integrative approach was further ignited through a recent collaboration with Pastor Andrew Choo from Grace Mission, one of the most respected horticultural mentors in the field. This partnership has inspired Serinn to delve deeper into research, exploring the profound impact of nature-based interventions on children's behavioural and emotional growth. Serinn's commitment to advancing the field of paediatric behavioural therapy is evident in her ongoing research and practical applications. She continually seeks to refine and expand her methods, ensuring that each child receives the most effective, nurturing care possible.
At Happy Kiddos, Serinn and her team have created a unique therapeutic environment where children can flourish. By combining the structure of ABA with the freedom and sensory richness of gardening, she offers a truly holistic approach to child development and wellness.
